Outpatient means you sleep at home and come in for scheduled clinical hours. At SISU that runs from intensive outpatient, nine hours a week, down to a weekly step-down group as you stabilize.

Common questions

Questions people ask before starting

Questions people ask before starting

Questions people ask before starting

How is outpatient different from rehab?

Rehab usually means residential treatment with overnight care. Outpatient is scheduled clinical care while you live at home.

What does a week look like?

Most people start with three-hour groups three to five days a week, with individual sessions and medication support as needed.

Can I start while I am still drinking?

Yes. Call us before you stop; we assess whether outpatient is safe or whether you need medical detox first.
